Yoga Teacher Training Reflection

Embarking on a yoga teacher training journey is like stepping into a world of its own - it’s like being in a bubble where time slows down, and the focus shifts to deep study and personal growth. At Yoga Six West Boca, the 200-hour teacher training program spans over eight weekends, offering an immersive experience from January to April. This year, our group, affectionately known as the "Lucky 🍀🕉️✨ 13," brings an incredible energy that is both uplifting and inspiring.

From our very first weekend (last week), the engagement and enthusiasm of the group is palpable. It's a privilege to witness such dedication and interaction among students who are passionate about their inquiry into yoga. Co-leading this training with Debbie Curtis Wolff is a joyous experience, made seamless by our shared love for yoga and the students who are committed to learning.

These weekends offer a unique opportunity to step away from the chaos of everyday life and immerse oneself in the study of yoga. It's not about escaping reality but rather about delving into the practice to cultivate self-realization and inner peace. In times of global challenges, these trainings provide a much needed respite, a chance to focus on personal growth and contribute to a more peaceful world.

This journey is not just about learning how to teach yoga, it's about embodying the principles of yoga and transforming them into a way of life. It feels like being part of something incredibly important, and for that, I am profoundly grateful.

As we continue through this transformative training, I am reminded of the power of community and the shared goal of creating a more harmonious existence, both on and off the mat.
